Inauguration ceremony of CPD
To bolster the professional capability and excellence of the graduates from different educational field and to ensure the professional success of the graduates a new Center is established in World University of Bangladesh to attain and improve various essential skills of the graduates. The inauguration ceremony for the “Center for Professional Development (CPD)” was held in the seminar room of World University of Bangladesh on 19 th December, 2022. Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdul Mannan Choudhury inaugurated the center. The program was adorned with special guest Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Nurul Islam and Dr. Avijit Basak. Dr. Swapan Kumar Sarkar, Chairman of the Biomedical Engineering and Public Health and Chief coordinator of the CPD presided over the meeting and explained the scope and goal of the center. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Faculty members and administrative office members of World University of Bangladesh. The center will initially offer certificate courses for medical professionals in medical ultrasound, research methodology, dermatology, geriatrics, along with certificate courses on apparel merchandising, English language proficiency. Additional courses would be soon announced to commence.
